Stephanie A. Davey is a PhD student in Health Psychology at the University of Derby. Her programme of research explores the barriers and facilitators of influenza vaccination in children. Her main research interests include vaccination decision-making and health promotion and health communication, particularly on social media. She is involved in a number of projects including HPV vaccination uptake in boys, trust and COVID-19 vaccination in Ghana, and mentoring in health psychology. Stephanie is supervised by Dr Daniel Gaffiero (Director of studies), Dr Amelia Woodward, Professor James Elander and Dr Michael Head. Stephanie is Co-Chair of the Midlands Health Psychology Network, Co-Lead Comms for the Division of Health Psychology (DHP) and a committee member of the Health Psychology Trainee Network.
